LAUNDRY GUIDE

LAUNDRY GUIDE

Product care

Wooflinen recommends that our customers pre-wash all sheets and bedding sets before first use. Please refer to Step 4 below.

No matter your choice of Wooflinen material, ensuring that your sheets stay clean and last a lifetime comes down to a few simple steps. Keeping them as comfortable as possible is important too…

LAUNDRY BASICS

1.

Wash

Both Bamboo and French Linen are specialty fabrics, but that doesn’t mean they are fragile. Keep temp set at WARM or COLD. Though a NORMAL wash setting is fine, we recommend setting your washer cycle to PERMANENT PRESS. Spin speed should be set to max MEDIUM. Yes, you can use Fabric Softener.

2.

Separate Your Load

If washing your entire bed sheet set, we advise drying the pillow cases and sheets separate from the duvet cover. Not only will it improve efficiency in drying times, but also ensures your duvet cover doesn’t attempt to literally eat the other sheets.

3.

Drying

Due to how breathable Wooflinen fabrics are, we recommend your keep your dryer temperature set to MEDIUM. Even at this temperature, your sheets will dry just as quick.

4.

Pre-Wash

We recommend that our customers wash and dry their sheets before first use. Not only does this remove any creases that have set into the materials, but also allows for a delinting process. Especially in the case of French Linen. It is recommended to check your lint tray at least twice during the drying cycle, to remove any lint that builds up there.

FRENCH LINEN PREP

1.

Wash

Set temperature to WARM or COLD. Though a NORMAL wash setting is fine, we recommend setting your washer cycle to PERMANENT PRESS. Spin speed should be set to max MEDIUM. Yes, you can use Fabric Softener.

2.

First Dry

We advise drying the pillow cases and sheets separate from the duvet cover. Place sheets and pillow cases into dryer and set to MEDIUM heat for 45 minutes. During the drying process, be sure to check the lint trap at least twice to remove any lint that accumulates there. Once complete, remove sheet set and do same to the duvet cover.

3.

Return to Rinse

After removing sheets from dryer, place back into washer. Run a rinse cycle at MEDIUM speed. A small amount of liquid softener is fine. Remove, return to dryer.

4.

Final Dry

Dry on LOW-MEDIUM or MEDIUM until completely dry. Once again, be sure to empty the lint trap at least once during drying time. And, we know it’s an extra step, but keeping the duvet cover separate from the sheets while drying is most helpful. And now your sheets are ready!
