Here is @baileydontstopretrievin doing a wonderful job helping us segway into a cleaning guide for our Ultra Reflective leashes. For those of you who use our leashes often, or allow you furbaby to drag said leash, it becomes obvious that after a good amount of time, rope leashes can get dirty. Fortunately, they can be made good as new with a little warm water and mild soap. There is also rope-specific cleaner available, but unnecessary.

For a little extra kick for the tough to get out dirt, put a small amount of dishwasher detergent with hot water in the bathroom sink, and massage the leash through the water. Try not to over soak the leather.

To dry, hang rope over shower curtain rod.
