We pamper our fur babies, even when out for a quick stroll. Therefore when seeking a leash, we wanted something that was easy to use, recommended by dog trainers, insanely durable, safe at night, and absolutely stunning to look at. Inspired by the most rugged of mountain climbers, the Wooflinen slip leash easily "slips" onto your hardest puller or smallest foo-foo dog. Our "Fatty" series is the perfect combination of flashy and durability. Extra large gauge mountain climbing rope -- up to 50% larger than other leashes -- not only provides unbreakable strength, but a look that will make other dog owners jelly. You have to see it to believe it.

We kicked this serious off with our "loud and proud" Rainbow 🌈 variant. The Unicorn 🦄 of leashes not only changes colors depending on the lighting, but has a DNA Double Helix reflective pattern to ensure you grab everyone's attention at night as well.

Our "Fatty" series leashes feature a wide gauge at 1.5cm, along with extra length of 7' (86"). Because of the gauge and length, there are a number of ways to use this style of leash.

  • Standard: Easily slip leash over dogs neck, leaving approximately 6' of dog leash for walking. Great for quick walks, training, and bathroom breaks.
  • Full Length: Our leashes and rings are gauged to easily allow the leash to disengage from slip leash in order to become a full length leash. With the help of a carabiner, connect the leash to your dog's collar or favorite harness.
  • Harness: Slip leashes can easily become a full harness. In harness mode, the leash provides 4' of available distance.
  • Running: With the leash in standard slip, you can wrap the slip portion around your waste or across your chest. Tighten the leash to fit with the leather stopper, and use the leash handle with carabiner to clip onto your dog's collar or harness.

    I purchased this because I needed a very reflective leash for early morning and evening walks, as well as hiking while camping and back country hiking. This is the most reflective leash I've found so far.



    It seems very sturdy so far. Hasn't stretched when wet. Comfortable to hold and comfortable for my pup so far. He's only 9 weeks old so he's a little taken aback by the weight when first put on but after a minute or two he doesn't even notice it (cattle dog/black lab mix - 12.5lbs as of this review).



    I will update again in about 6 months or so. But so far so good! He's chewed on it a bit with his little piranha teeth and it has shown no signs of wear so I am confident it will hold up just fine.

    At first I was skeptical, due to how expensive this leash was, but after using it I'm convinced. This leash is not only gorgeous to look at, but its dependable! Our dog destroys everything, and its hard to find anything she won't chew up. This leash is not only strong enough for us to have a good hold on her when she pulls (she's a big dog) but she can't chew through it like the last one. We definitely feel like we have more control over her with this leash, and the quality of said leash certainly makes it worth the price tag. I would definitely recommend this to others!

    I hated having to stand so close when she did her circles trying to find her spot #2 because she deserves a little space AND we used to get tangled.

    Having the 7 feet is perfect! It is beautiful and reflective to boot!

    This review is for the: Wooflinen 7ft Ultra Reflective Fatty Series Premium Dog Slip Leash. It is a great product! We have two 60 lb English Bulldogs and its' almost too big for them. I suggest that you get this particular leash if you have a 70+ lb dog... and it could easily handle a dog that is well over 100 lbs. Additionally, its more reflective at night than our other leash (not this brand but similar). I give this a five star rating.

    Best leash I've found so far. Really enjoying it on my walks with my Mini Bernedoodle. Unlike some rope leashes this one is not rough on my hands and is nice a think so when I need to choke up on it I can hold it well. Plus it is such a fun color scheme. So far my very chewy pup has not been able to damage it. He's chewed through 3 other rope leashes. Highly recommend.
