When it comes to adopting a furbaby, daily walks become a part of life. Not only does the exercise help bonding and socialization, it's also a great way to keep your four-legged family member healthy. And with walks come potty breaks, making the ownership of dog poop bags a must. But they are so bad for the environment!

All that plastic -- it's horrible. While some use Oxo-Biodegradable as a solution to this problem, that material only breaks down into microbeads of plastic. Any nature show can explain how problematic these beads are.

We therefore took it a step further, following ASTM D6400 guidelines for a 9" × 13" bag made from Corn Starch. The material dissolves entirely with the help of only oxygen and water.

Not only is the final product environmentally friendly, but features an incredible soft-touch surface.

    This is the first dog waste bags we purchased. It is extremely easy to open. We had no problem in picking up the waste in the Windy City or in the rain. We recently bought a bag dispenser and it comes with bags. These blue ones are indeed feel thinner but never ripped. I would compare the feel of these bags to the biodegradable bags at Trader Joes.

    So far, so good with these bags. I was using another brand that is no longer available for some reason, so I took a chance on these. I was skeptical at first because they seem so much thinner than the other bio-degradable bags I was using, but they’ve held up well to my 2 large dog’s waste. I also like that you get 15 bags per roll instead of 10. I will order them again when needed (as long as they don’t disappear off the market!)

    I like these bags for many reasons but the main one being that they are so easy to open! Since they are not plastic there is no static cling that keeps the open end glued together when trying to open them (I am sure I will appreciate this feature even more in the winter). They are soft which is nice, they are sturdy - have not had any tears or breakthroughs when the bag is 'full'. And to top it off they are great for the environment.

    We have two dogs (a chocolate lab and a chihuahua mix) and we go through a lot of poop bags as you can imagine. We wanted ones that were 100% biodegradable, which these are. These are a little bit thin but sturdy, and we highly recommend them. They are not the cheapest, but for what we want/ need they are the best!

    If you have a dog, you've most likely purchased poop bags. I know I've purchased plenty of them. This one in particular is thinner and lighter than most and being eco-Friendly/biodegradable it's perfect. For the amount you receive the price is reasonable. Better than Walmart!

    I actually use these to contain funk from daily litter scooping. I scoop the cat box every day and dump the waste into these, tie them off, and throw them away. There is zero stink - no one even knows I have a cat because the odor doesn't leak through. I've only had one bag break and it was the first in the roll, so I think the seam was just wonky. No big deal, especially for the price. This beats trying to reuse grocery bags that are big and awkward to tie off, plus they really do keep the stench contained. I love them.

    Checks all the boxes when it comes to performing as a poo bag.

    I have 3 dogs that weigh between 45 - 75 pounds, so there is a lot of poop to deal with. Typically we buy rolls of poop bags at the dollar store or a discount retailer, but I do feel bad about using so much plastic. These bags can be composted and are biodegradable, so no guilt!



    The rolls themselves are a standard size that fill fit in most (plastic - ugh!) dispensers. The bags are larger than the cheaper bags, which is great for large dogs and owners who do not want a stinky finger. My only gripe is the smooth texture: it makes it very difficult to open the bag once it is torn off the roll, as the material really wants to stick together.



    According to their website, the box they come in and the cardboard the bags are rolled around are from recycled material. They are a little more expensive than some of their competitors, but the larger bag size makes them worth it to me as a large dog owner.

    I really like these bag. They are easy to tear apart and open. I have not come across any defective bags in the batch either. The bottom is wide and the length longer, which makes picking up poop easier and cleaner. The bag is long enough to protect skin/clothing and makes tying closed much easier. I always carry these on my walks with my fur baby.
