When it comes to adopting a furbaby, daily walks become a part of life. Not only does the exercise help bonding and socialization, it's also a great way to keep your four-legged family member healthy. And with walks come potty breaks, making the ownership of dog poop bags a must. But they are so bad for the environment!

All that plastic -- it's horrible. While some use Oxo-Biodegradable as a solution to this problem, that material only breaks down into microbeads of plastic. Any nature show can explain how problematic these beads are.

We therefore took it a step further, following EN13432 guidelines for a 9" × 13" bag made from Corn Starch. The material dissolves entirely with the help of only oxygen and water. EN13432 is the European equivalent to BPI ASTM D6400, but it even goes a step further. While D6400 is only approved for Industrial Compost, our bags have certification in OK COMPOST INDUSTRIAL, SEEDLING and OK COMPOST HOME. Certified by TUV Austria, formerly known as Vincotte.

Not only is the final product environmentally friendly, but features an incredible soft-touch surface.

    People in town love seeing me walk my beautiful Pit Bull with these bags hanging out of my pocket! And I love how easy they are to open up and use even while holding a leash. They're also roomy enough for a lot of poo and easy to twist and tie off. Great at sealing off any odor in case I can't find a public dumpster before we get home! My conscience loves that they are plant based.

    I just bought my second box of these bags. I switched from a previous brand after discovering the box was biodegradable, not the bags themselves. Forehead slap. The Wooflinen bags are just the right size - I have two small dogs (25lbs) and can fit multiple poopages in a single bag. The bags are easy to open and I’ve had no problems with tearing. I’ve noticed that the poop odor was better masked with the previous brand I used, I suspect due to the type of material and thickness of the bag. I’m willing to trade a little odor for the biodegradability. I’m still glad these are unscented. To me, lavender-scented poop is not necessary.

    After using hundreds of these bags, I have only had two that did not open easily, and it turns out the seam and perforation were slightly off. Otherwise, there is no need to lick or spit on your fingers to get them open like Pogi's or the other green-colored bags. These are more rubbery (balloon-like) and open with just a little twisting.
